A Special Weekend
On the 26th of June, our DEBRA NZ community came together in Auckland for our annual Conference and Family Camp – a special weekend of connection, learning, laughter, and creating lasting memories together.
While our members heard from a fantastic range of guest speakers and shared valuable conversations, the children enjoyed a variety of activities and being with others who know what it's like to live with EB. A real highlight of the weekend was our visit to Butterfly Creek, where families had the chance to explore, play, and simply enjoy time together.
From reconnecting with familiar faces to welcoming new ones, weekends like these are a beautiful reminder of the strength, support, and friendships that make our DEBRA NZ community so special.

It is a beautiful picture of how a strong community provides a base of support, encouragement and belonging in hard times.
